from continents to regions

Today the mighty Section 01 took the 24 nations we looked at yesterday, and identified them by region instead of continent.  We also discussed why geographers might prefer to analyze and study different cultures according to the region where they live.

Please note:  the first test of the year will be on Friday.  It's worth 100 points, and will cover material related to the CIA Factbook, our discussions of the 25 questions, our use of maps, and identifying nations by continent and region.  More on this in class.
